Announcement
We take garments from the past and translate them into clothes for wearing today, either in everyday life or when you dress up. Our version of vintage.
Our clothes are for anyone looking for quality well-made clothing in natural fabrics, made in the UK in my Yorkshire workshop.
The C18th style shirts & breeches are available in Etsy shop ElgarSisterShop - my sister Jane has her own shop.

Experienced shirt-maker in business again after a 14 year gap
I am an experienced maker returning to what I love, making garments in beautiful fabrics for men.
I kicked off the business in 2015 with nightshirts, then soon added historic-based shirts, waistcoats and now trousers. We try to use the best quality or vintage natural materials.
We make everything ourselves in the UK.
My sister joined in 2016, to make garments based on 18th century patterns.
We sell at history-based, re-enactment and steampunk shows in the UK, as well as online - see our main range at www.elgarshirts.com
We do offer a made-to-measure service (with a 3-4 week order time). If your size is not available on Etsy then please contact me as I may have one or can make one.
Please note that if you buy 2 items there is no additonal postage charge on the 2nd item, as the cost is the same for sending 2 garments.
