About

A little bit about me...

Hi my names Emma. I've always been a creative person, I grew up drawing and making with anything I could get my hands on. Tony Hart was my childhood hero! After school I spent 5 years studying art and design then went on to work as a graphic designer and freelance artist.
Jewellery has always been one of my passions, for the different pieces that not everyone has. For gemstones, be they polished and faceted or rough as though they've just been pulled out of the earth. I started making jewellery for myself years ago while at art college but it was a hobby that went on the back burner when I left. In 2012 my job was made redundant and I discovered jewellery making again, in 2013 I became self employed and now specialise in wire wrapping and metalsmithing.
My inspiration comes from the natural world and my love for gemstones. All my pieces are crafted and finished by hand making each one unique. Working with precious and non precious metals I use genuine gemstones in my jewellery as I love their uniqueness, how tactile they are and the journey they've been on before they come to me. Each piece is it's own little statement and wearable piece of art.
Thank you for taking an interest in my work!

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Jewellery should not be exposed to perfumes, lotions, harsh chemicals or high temperatures. Please remove jewellery before showering or swimming. Any excess tarnishing that occurs naturally over time can be removed with a silver polishing cloth, harsh chemical cleaning can damage the gemstones and finish of the jewellery. I use silver filled wire in a lot of my pieces which is a 10% plating on the wire that is 99% pure silver. While this is a thick plating is can wear over time, excessive wear an also occur if exposed to the above conditions.
