This ebony wooden oblique holder I found to be an extension of my hand rather than a tool I’m consciously holding. The pen is very well made with a nice balance which merges so nicely with my grip! Made with a custom flange that fits my favourite nibs ‘Zebra G & Leonardt principle EF’, I highly recommend Melanie’s work. 😊

This holder is beautiful and finished to a high standard. Smooth but not slippery. I’m enjoying using it, it is light, fairly small and neat in the hand. The ergonomic style puts my hand in a good position for writing and I get much less finger/arm fatigue. I contacted Melanie several times as I made a decision about which holder to buy - she responded promptly was incredibly helpful and generous with her time. I also contacted her about a wooden version and she finished it to my specs. It is absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t recommend her pens highly enough. I have been delighted by my purchases.
