Vendo Patrones; Estoy limpiando (reduciendo el tamaño) mi sala de costura. Todos los patrones siguen siendo nuevos como (sin usar) y / o UNCUT, a menos que se indique lo contrario. Algunos sobres de patrones pueden mostrar desgaste de almacenamiento. Estoy buscando personas de ideas afines que compartan mi amor por la costura y las artesanías para venderlas. ¡La mayoría de los patrones son como, o están sucediendo, 40 años! ♥ Agregaré un nuevo inventario (con la ayuda de mi hija) a mi tienda, de forma continua.

Soy una maestra de primaria jubilada de 83 años. He estado haciendo artes y manualidades, desde que tengo memoria. He cosido para desfiles de moda, funciones de la Iglesia, ropa para mis hijas (ropa de muñecas y juguetes, incluidos), y para otros maestros. He hecho miles de pedidos personalizados, en mi vida. Y, les enseñé a TODAS mis 4 niñas a coser, desde el momento en que cada una tenía unos 3 años ... hasta la rodilla. La costura es una gran habilidad para poder recurrir; especialmente, cuando los tiempos son difíciles. Una de mis hijas, incluso, se interesó por el dibujo, la pintura y otras artes y oficios; y creo que me volví mejor en la artesanía, ¡que yo! jajaja Pero no es eso lo que cualquier padre quiere; para sus hijos, para que tengan una vida (futura) mejor y mejor que la que tenían?

A lo largo de los años, he visto los cambios en las industrias de costura y artesanía, desde TRUE handmade hasta lo que ahora se llama handmade. Intenta hacer todo hecho a mano, desde cero... en comparación con cómo se hace, ahora, con maquinaria (máquinas de coser incluidas), etc.; Y dime en qué crees que REALMENTE consisten los hechos a mano. *guiño* Recuerdo, por ejemplo, cuando las colchas estaban TODAS hechas a mano; las mujeres solían organizar fiestas semanales (a veces, diarias) de acolchado, todas trabajando en una sola colcha, para la boda, la ducha o, tal vez, una colcha para bebés. Las colchas, entonces, eran personalizadas, o tenían algún tipo de significado sentimental, o apego familiar (especial), a ellas. Las reuniones también eran divertidas, fiestas reales, en ese entonces ... algo que grupos de abuelas, madres e hijas, siempre estaban haciendo, y compartiendo, JUNTOS. ¡NO se permiten hombres! Muy buena formación para las próximas chicas jóvenes; y las madres siempre estaban quietas, constantemente, aprendiendo cosas nuevas, atajos o trucos, de SUS madres. ¡Las hijas, también, compartieron, o enseñaron, a sus mayores cosas nuevas! Cuando me retiré, comencé a perseguir mi pasión a tiempo completo; y sigo, activamente, haciéndolo... y sigue aprendiendo. Los cambios hacen que la vida sea emocionante ... y, ¡estoy encantado de seguir vivo, y verlos!

PD: Yo también hago muñecas Raggedy Ann y Andy hechas a mano, colchas de memoria y otras sorpresas. Me encanta coser. Acepto pedidos personalizados, también.

I sell Patterns; I am cleaning out (downsizing) my Sewing Room. All Patterns Still New Like (Unused), and/or UNCUT, unless otherwise stated. Some Pattern Envelopes May Show Storage Wear. I am looking for like-minded individuals that share my love for sewing, and crafts, to sell them to. Most of the patterns are like, or going on, 40 years old! ♥ I will be adding new Inventory (with the help of my daughter), to my shop, on an ongoing basis.

I am an 83 years young, retired elementary grade school teacher. I have been doing arts and crafts, for as long as I can remember. I have sewn for fashion shows, Church functions, clothes for my girls (doll clothes, and toys, included), and for fellow teachers. I have made thousands of custom orders, in my lifetime. And, I taught ALL 4 of my girls how to sew, from the time that they each were about 3 years old ... knee high. Sewing is a great skill to be able to fall back on; especially, when times are hard. One of my daughters, even, became interested in drawing, painting, and other arts and crafts; and I believe became better at crafting, than I am! lol But isn't that what any parent want; for their children, for them to have a better, and improved, life (future) than they had?

Over the years, I have seen the changes in the sewing and craft industries, from TRUE handmade to what is now being called handmade. Try doing everything handmade, from scratch ... compared to how one does it, now, with machinery (sewing machines included), etc.; AND tell me what you believe that handmade REALLY consist of. *wink* I remember, for example, when quilts were ALL handmade; women used to throw weekly (sometimes, daily) quilting parties, all working on just one quilt, for someone's wedding, shower, or, maybe, a baby quilt. Quilts, then, were personalized, or had some kind of a sentimental meaning, or family (special) attachment, to them. The gatherings were fun, too, real parties, back then ... something that groups of grandmothers, mothers, and daughters, were always doing, and sharing, TOGETHER. NO men allowed! Very good training for upcoming young girls; and mothers were always still, constantly, learning new things, shortcuts, or tricks, from THEIR moms. Daughters, also, shared, or taught, their elders new things! When I retired, I started pursuing my passion full-time; and am still, actively, doing so ... and still learning. Changes makes life exciting ... and, I am thrilled to still be alive, and seeing them!
