Embracing uniqueness in all of us

Aliya Rabbani is the founder of Famera studio based in, Sweden. Her passion for art started in early childhood and continued to be her calling throughout the years.
Having realized her passion for painting and design, she started her artistic career in 2019.
Aliya started a project "the Light" where she invites everyone to participate in a creative way, by drawing a sun and becoming a building block in a community of kindness.

-"The sun rises every morning and shines no matter what, for families living with autism sun rays are a different color every day. I know that personally, therefore I would like to unite our Suns ️in one LIGHT and glow brighter together, sometimes maybe borrow each other's bright star when a rain cloud darkens the day.
Art "the Light" is very special to me as it is a bridge of my life, beliefs, and creativity.
I use wood, as it perfectly represents our diverse inner worlds, as each and every Sun, that I create, is authentic and one of a kind.
Designed on paper, later carefully cut out, patiently sanded, and oiled, the bright sun glows the uniqueness of the human mind and soul.
In order for autistic people to grow, the environment is key. I wanted to embody that in the cozy, soft, bright color cotton knitted pattern filled with acceptance, love, support, understanding, and patience.
With this body of work, I would like to invite you to embrace autism, to spread acceptance and inclusion."
