Art from the Heart

I am a self-taught artist who lives in London and Suffolk.

I love exploring different techniques . I paint with acrylic and watercolour, but also love digital art and photography. My work is driven my emotional response to what I encounter in day-to-day life. In a world where there is so much anger, sadness and pain, I try to seek out beauty in everyday things and share it.

Be Kind Always!

I’m inspired by Frida Kahlo and Vincent van Gogh, and it’s no accident that I’m drawn to these painters because I suffer from fibromyalgia, a condition which means that I live with chronic pain. Many activities which other people take for granted are difficult or impossible for me, and I had to overcome all kinds of obstacles to set up my Etsy shop.

My mission is to make pictures which people will love, and which will bring colour and joy to their homes and workplaces.

If you don't find what you're looking for in my shop, but you like the style, drop me a message and I'm happy to work with you to create something custom-made for you.

Frequently asked questions
Can you do custom orders?

I love custom orders, and have undertaken many and varied commissions. Just ask!

I don’t charge for preliminary work.

I like the image but would like a different size or format, can you do that?

Yes!

Prints can be produced at other sizes. There are some constraints imposed by the image itself, each has its own intrinsic shape and proportions but I will always try to make what you want.

What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days from receiving your purchase to change your mind. Please contact me ASAP but not later than 14 days after you receive the item.

You must send the item back to me within 21 days of receiving it. You are responsible for meeting the costs of the return shipping. You must ensure that the product is returned to me in the same quality that you received it. (high quality giclée prints are delicate and will mark so touch unmounted prints only at the edges.)

I will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the item. Your refund will include the original shipping cost but not the cost of returning the item.

Who is the seller?

My name is Julianna Fejér, I am based in London & Suffolk.

What is a giclée print? What's special about it?

Giclée is a name used for high quality digital prints made on an inkjet printer as compared to the traditional way of printing, using offset lithography. The name comes from the French verb meaning spray, spout, squirt. The giclée printing process combines archival inks with archival paper to produce a print which is of very high quality and long lasting.

Care instructions

If you buy an unframed picture, please handle it carefully, particularly giclée prints. Hold them by the edges because they will mark and if an artwork is damaged I cannot refund it should you wish to send it back.

To keep your artwork in best condition always protect from direct sunlight. Consider using UV protective glass if the picture is particularly special. Most framers will be able to advise you on this.

Acrylic on canvas can be hung without a frame or framed, but if framing best to avoid direct contact with glass to prevent against any sticking of paint to glass.

Do you offer framing?

Yes. I offer this as a service to my customers but what I can do is dependent on a number of factors, not least what stock I have available and where you are based. Please contact me for help and advice.

What are your environmental policies?

I am very conscious of the amount of plastic that is used in packaging generally. When wrapping and packaging my artworks I try to re--use packaging materials that I have received myself. Although these don't look as pretty they work just as well. Wherever possible I try to avoid using plastic but my first priority is to ensure that your picture reaches you in the best possible condition. All feedback is welcome as I am always trying to improve the sustainability of what I do.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All my pictures are carefully wrapped in acid free protective packaging whether that is tissue paper or a clear wrap. These are specialist materials. I will then make the picture as pretty as possible, even if you haven't asked for gift wrap service.

Due to the corona pandemic delays are occurring to shipping to the USA. I have started to get some prints made within the US and shipped to customers directly. I also offer a shipping upgrade to courier service if you need the item urgently. Please contact me to discuss your requirements before ordering if you are worried about shipping.

Do you do a pet portraits?

Yes! I love painting pets. You have a choice of traditional painting using watercolour and acrylic or digital. Please send me a photograph of your special furry friend to work from. You will find a section in my shop called Pawtraits.
