Announcement    We're back, with a strong line in embossed covers this time around.

(Note to customers from the USA: for whatever reason, your President has decided to pick a fight with the Universal Postal Union, the UN agency which coordinates global postal services. As a result of this unilateral action, it now costs *half as much again*, weight-for-weight, for anyone outside the US to post you parcels. There's nothing I can do to mitigate that, so apologies.)

Fell Book Press - making books, telling stories

Fell Book Press started, as all good ideas do, with an act of hubris - namely "How difficult can it be to make a book?"

Based on the ridiculous notion that desktop publishing not just involves writing the book, but also assembling it, one copy at a time, out of paper, card, cloth and glue, Fell Book Press has firmly seized the means of production back from industrial printers and put it where it belongs: currently, the dining room table.

Fell Book Press' manifesto is two-fold: to tell good stories using both words and art, and to keep alive the age-old craft of manual bookbinding (just in case there's an apocalypse around the corner).

And no, the dining room table isn't going to get cleared any time soon.
