Announcement
For ethically sourced, non-mulesing, hand dyed yarns and hand knitted items. Custom and wholesale orders are welcome. I ship internationally from the UK.
Most of my yarn is now on my website - feltfusion.co.uk and my second business faefolkfibres.com
Please note that my despatch times are determined by how busy my order list is. Custom dyes may take a few weeks and custom knits can take longer still.
Please be advised that hand dyed yarns are not exact. Colours can run into each other, or separate during the dye process, to create colours not expected or mentioned in the listing details. This is not a fault, but part of the beauty of hand dyed yarns. No two skeins, even those dyed together, will be exactly the same.
UK P&P is £3.70 on any amount purchased for standard items. Postage offers are available on my websites.
Please note that the postage details in listings, regarding timings, are set in such a way that I do not bow to Etsy's parameters - they don't take Royal Mail's T&Cs into account. Parcels are all sent via Royal Mail or Parcelforce, via my lovely village post office.
If you would like to order something, whether it be a colourway you have seen, but need on another base, or a new colourway entirely, please contact me.

You can also find more of my yarn, hand dyed using inspiration from the myths, legends and history of the British Isles, and beyond, at faefolkfibres.com
If you don't see anything that catches your eye, please don't hesitate to get in touch, I can usually source or dye something to suit!
I am happy to take payment in instalments for larger orders, however, please understand that once an instalment is paid it is non-refundable.
My yarn is ethically sourced from UK farms and small holdings in South America, Africa and Mongolia. The animals provide the main, if not only, source of income for local families and the animals and the staff are well looked after.

I love wool. I sleep, eat, breathe wool, or so it seems sometimes.
My woolly journey started around 2007, after using wool longies - knitted trousers that work as a nappy cover for my two youngest son's cloth nappies. The woolly interest was piqued and I needed a creative outlet after being at home for several years, bringing up our 3 wonderful boys. I taught myself to needle felt and then wet felt and after some time practicing, I set up shop. Once we'd discovered the magic of wool as a nappy cover, I taught myself to knit with the help of a book and some knitting friends. Since then I haven't looked back and can't remember a day when I haven't knitted. I knit anywhere and everywhere and even take plenty of yarn and needles with me on holiday - I can be seen knitting on the beach, in the cinema, poolside whilst my children attend swimming club - I love knitting! I love to knit to order, creating items from a long list of patterns, to suit you and your children.
The natural progression from knitting was to dye the yarn. I love hand dyed yarns and have quite a stash from various international dyers. We were home educating and in 2013 I decided that we'd have a dabble and, well, the rest is history. I caught the bug big time! I am a self-taught dyer, ever evolving my colourways and dye techniques.
In 2020 I opened a second business, also for hand dyed yarn, this time inspired by myths, legends and history of the British Isles and beyond, at faefolkfibres.com
I also opened my own website - feltfusion.co.uk
My wool is ethically sourced from UK farms and small holdings in South American and North African countries, and Mongolia. The animals provide the main, if not only, source of income for local families and the animals and the staff are well looked after.
Since then my woolly journey has continued. I dye many times a week, run regular yarn clubs and occasional market events through my Facebook page. You'll find me on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Ravelry, Facebook... as Felt Fusion,
I hope that you enjoy my woolly works as much as I enjoy creating them :)

Custom and personalised orders
Custom orders are most welcome. I love to work to order. If you don't see what you are looking for in my shop, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Please be advised that hand dyed yarns are not exact. Colours can run into each other, or separate during the dye process, to create colours not expected or mentioned in the listing details. This is not a fault, but part of the beauty of hand dyed yarns.
Custom items cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Postage costs will not be refunded.
Payment installments can be discussed, however once an installment, deposit or full payment has been paid it is non-refundable.
I will not start work on your order until payment has been made in full.
Care instructions
If you have bought hand dyed yarn or knitted items I would suggest hand washing your finished items with a gentle, suitable wool wash.
Hand dyed yarns may, on occasion, 'bleed' into your washing water - this is due to a little excess dye being left over from the dyeing process and should rinse out. If you wish to use a little white vinegar in your rinsing water this can help.
Scented wool washes, lanolins or knitting with hand creams, or even just the pH of our skin can sometimes cause the dyes to bleed - this is called 'crocking'. In the event of this happening with your yarn I cannot accept returns or refund your purchase.
Wholesale availability
Wholesale orders are welcome. Please contact me to discuss details. My hand dyed yarns can currently be found at Pink Milk, Leicester, Wool N Stuff, Wakefield and also at the Australian eBay shop A Chronic Yarnoholic.
