Good use of using 2 different resists rather than the normal 2d shapes. It’s good to think that you could use many more things as resits for your felting

Great instructions about the basics of wet felting but really loved the use of embellishments and that there is no wrong way of doing it. Lovely photos too

About

Felt

I've been hooked on wet felting since I first added soapy water to a pile of merino wool tops about 7 and a half years ago.

I love using embellishment fibres and fabric
and have been fascinated by the Hows and Whys of the way they work with wool since I first started using them. I wrote and published my first e-book called Beyond Nuno. It's all about using different fabrics with wool and how to get different effects and results. http://feltbyzed.blogspot.co.uk/p/e-books.html
Then I wrote one about using lots of different embellishment fibres with wool for wet felting: http://feltbyzed.blogspot.co.uk/p/the-right-fibre.html

I always wanted to open an Etsy shop to share my love of fibres and fabrics and make them more accessible and affordable when possible. I also love to make things with the felt I make, especially notebook covers, purses, camera cases and coin pouches and after being asked if I sell what I make I can finally say 'yes' after all these years!

I'm also part of an International fibre collective. We have a website dedicated to all things wool, felt, fibres, textiles and stitching. There is lots of info about wool breeds, speciality fibres, all kinds of felting and lots of free tutorials. We also blog about what we're working on.

As well as felt I also really like using polymer clay, especially making unique buttons, brooches, pendants and tiles for mosaics. I recently wrote an e-book about my simple method for getting smooth, evenly flat clay every time and lots of different techniques that can be used with it. http://feltbyzed.blogspot.co.uk/p/polymer-clay_12.html

Wherever possible, I will use recycled packaging. I won't buy expensive packaging and posting materials that will add more cost only to be discarded, but I will use materials which will transport items safely and securely. Please don't be offended if your item arrives in a recycled envelope or box. Royal Mail postage prices have increased a massive amount lately and if I can keep the weight down, I can keep the cost of postage down.
