I'm Sara, a designer/maker based in Hastings, East Sussex, U.K.
In 2015 I created my textile craft business after the completion of a B.A (Hons) Degree in Art and Design. Specializing in constructed textiles, I received a First Class Distinction and the seed for my fibre craft business was well and truly planted. My obsessions include a love of all things lace and Shabby chic and then combining these elements to create vintage inspired home decorations, accessories, giftware and bespoke bunting. Well, lace must be included very much everywhere!

Returns and exchange details
If you are not happy with your purchased item for any reason, no matter how small, please don't hesitate to contact me - Sara at Fibreandstitch within 14 days of delivery to you. The item must be unused to qualify for a refund. You can return the item within 30 days of receipt and remain the responsibility of the buyer until they are returned to me. Products that have been used are non-refundable.

If an item reaches you in a damaged condition, I will gladly replace it with another one if the item is in stock (or fully refund if the item is not in stock) when photographic evidence is received, and I am contacted within 3 days of receipt.

Postage payable for returning any order is the customers responsibility and is not refundable unless the item purchased was damaged in transit or the product is faulty. On receipt of the item, Fibreandstitch will refund initial (outward) postage paid when purchasing the item and the items full cost.

On the rare occasion of the item being lost in the post, refunds or replacements can be given after an investigation has been conducted by Fibreandstitch. Please contact Fibreandstitch to discuss any problems.

If an item is returned to me due to non collection I will contact the customer and arrange a refund or if the customer wishes, resend the item. In the case of refunding, initial postage paid for the item will be deducted from the refund.

N.B Please be aware that refunds cannot be given for personalized text custom orders. This is due to the time taken to produce the item and I will be unable to resell any item that has personalization.
Payment
I accept payment through Direct Checkout, PayPal, Debit Card, Credit Card, Apple Pay and Etsy Gift Cards. You do not have to have a PayPal Account to use your credit card or bank account to pay. When you checkout, choose Paypal, select the option "I do not have a PayPal account", then click "continue" and follow the instructions. I never see any of the details you enter at checkout except your name and address and the item you have purchased. Please contact me - Sara at Fibreandstitch if you require to pay via a different method. After placing your order you have 12 hours to cancel if you have changed your mind.
Delivery
As the items in Fibreandstitch's shop are pre made, they are ready to ship in 1 -2 business days after payment has been received. If a custom order has been discussed a delivery schedule will be arranged.

Your order will be carefully and thoughtfully wrapped, packaged and shipped to you.

COMBINED SHIPPING - Combined shipping is available for most of the items in the shop. However, some items weigh different amounts and sometimes cannot be shipped together in the same package for fear of damage during transit - a candle and an embroidery hoop for example. Any excess postage paid in these circumstances will be refunded by Fibreandstitch. I will gladly refund any shipping that has been charged above the actual cost. If you're buying several items from my shop and would prefer me to let you know in advance what the combined shipping cost will be, please send me a message and I will be happy to let you know.

***U.K. ORDERS*** All items shipped in the U.K are sent by Royal Mail. The option to upgrade to tracked delivery/signed for delivery/confirmation of delivery can be chosen during the checkout process. If an item in the shop has a 'free shipping' badge, the product will be shipped as standard second class delivery.

***INTERNATIONAL ORDERS*** Fibreandstitch ships internationally via Royal Mail Air Mail. Orders shipped to Europe/E.U/Non E.U are sent as tracked and signed for delivery with online confirmation.
Orders shipped to U.S.A are sent as tracked and signed for delivery with online confirmation of delivery. These services allow both Fibreandstitch and the customer to be updated as to the items progress during its shipment time and to insure the items delivery.


Please note anything shipped abroad may be subject to import taxes. Tax and import duties are the responsibility of the customer.

International parcels may be delayed by the Customs process and once a parcel is shipped it is out of my control. Please allow approximately 2 - 4 weeks for international deliveries under normal circumstances (non pandemic related).

Fibreandstich cannot be held responsible for a parcel if the wrong delivery address has been given!

I Sara Thursfield am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Etsy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Etsy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
