Ciao, sono il creatore di First Slice.
Ho trascorso la mia carriera nell'ingegneria del software, risolvendo problemi progettando sistemi semplici, affidabili e durevoli. Alla fine, questa mentalità si è trasferita nel mondo fisico attraverso la stampa 3D e l'hardware elettronico.
Ogni prodotto nasce da un'idea che attraversa diverse iterazioni, o "fette". La prima fetta può essere grezza e approssimativa, ma alla fine si trasforma in un prodotto raffinato di cui sono sinceramente soddisfatto e che desidero condividere.
Progetto e produco tutto personalmente nel Regno Unito, utilizzando materiali di alta qualità e componenti accuratamente selezionati. Che si tratti di una placca frontale personalizzata per una macchina a vapore o di un campanello intelligente su misura, il mio obiettivo è sempre lo stesso: creare prodotti di cui sarei orgoglioso e che gli altri potrebbero utilizzare.

I’ve spent my career in software engineering, solving problems by designing systems that are simple, reliable and built to last. Eventually that mindset found its way into the physical world through 3D printing and electronic hardware.
Every product begins as an idea that goes through multiple iterations - or slices. The first slice can be rough and ready but ultimately ends up as a refined product I’m genuinely happy with and wish to share.
I design and manufacture everything myself in the UK using high-quality materials and carefully chosen components. Whether it’s a custom Steam Machine face plate or custom-built smart door bell, my goal is always the same: create products that I’d be proud to see others use.
