5 out of 5 starsI love this fabric. I am very happy with the array of fabric types, weights and shibori patterns. What a great value! I would definitely purchase again. And the shop owner Kim has been a delight to work with. Very responsive to questions as well.

Upcycled ecoprinted and indigo shibori clothes and accessories
My name is Kim Winter and I live in London, UK. I specialise in upcycling clothes and accessories, turning items that are no longer wanted back into desirable objects.
How does this work?
* I buy items from charity / thrift shops, jumble sales, car boot sales and auctions.
* I overdye these items with indigo using a technique called shibori (sort of sophisticated tie dye) or I overprint them with real leaves by bundling them up and steaming them - the pigments from the leaves transfer to the fabric.
Who benefits?
* You do, because each piece is unique, one of a kind - I can guarantee that you will never see anyone else wearing exactly the same garment!
* I do, because I don't get bored churning out a production line of identical items.
* The charity shop benefits from the money I spend (and I visit a LOT of charity shops!)
* The environment benefits because the shelf life of the clothes is extended, rather than them possibly ending up in landfill.

Returns and exchange details
If your purchase is damaged, I will replace it or refund your money. This is highly unlikely, as I inspect everything before I send it and pack it as securely as I can. Also remember that raw silk scarves are handwoven and that irregularities are part of their appeal. But if there is a problem, just send me the photo of the damage and I will arrange a refund or return.
If you buy an item and decide that it isn't right for you, please let me know straight away. You can ship it back to me, in its original condition and packaging, at your expense, and I will ship you another one at my expense or refund your money, whichever you prefer.
Payment
You don't need a PayPal account to pay - you can still use a credit card. For details see http://www.etsy.com/uk/help/article/361
