Very cute magnet, it has been printed to a high quality and matches what I hoped for. The bright colours match those shown online.

this beautiful skein arrived super quickly. Colour representation on the screen was accurate which is always helpful and it's knitting up beautifully into a soft, silky, drapey fabric. Would definitely order again

Stunning colour and so very soft. Tiny comment though, I would say this is more DK than aran, I had to do down in needle size and use 4mm ones

Repeat order from this seller to whom I return time and again. Lovely colours and unusual fibres.
How it all started...
The idea for Flora Fibres started after a slightly disappointing visit to a yarn festival, where nearly everything available was wool based. As a vegan I was keen to see some some more hand spun, hand dyed yarns on the market that make use of all the incredible plant fibres available today. Not only for people like myself, but also those with wool allergies, and any other yarn crafter who would like to branch out and try something new. So I decided to go ahead and create the yarns myself! I taught myself how to spin, and all about natural dyeing, and thus Flora Fibres Yarn was born!
Hi there! I'm Catriona: owner, maker and everything else behind the scenes at Flora Fibres Yarn. I live with my husband, 2 wee boys and many many plants, by the coast in beautiful Scotland. I love what I do, and I hope you love your new yarn!
After designing my collection of fridge magnets, I had them printed by another company.

Frequently asked questions
Each item comes with their own care instructions included, so you will always know how to take care of your purchase.
As each skein of hand spun is unique, the length will always vary. In each listing, and on the tag of each skein sold, you will find all the relevant information, including: approximate length, WPI, skein weight.
How will my order be packaged?
To ensure the delivery of your order has the minimum of impact upon our beautiful planet, most orders will be packaged in cardboard mailing boxes and sealed with paper tape, all of which is recyclable or compostable. Reusable ziplock bags are available to package your yarn inside the boxes upon request, if necessary.
Gift wrapping is available separately.
Are the colours in the listing photos true?
I make every effort to ensure the photos in the listings are as true to the colours of the yarn as possible, however the colours you see on your screen will depend on how your monitor/phone screen is set up. Colours can vary significantly across different screens, so please be aware of this when ordering.
Will the colours fade when washed?
Over time the colours from natural dyes may soften slightly, and "mellow". This is totally normal and part of the charm of botanical colours. Storing your yarn out of direct sunlight will also help protect the colour.
The thing to be aware of when washing your yarn is the pH of your water, as *some* (not all) natural dyes are very susceptible, and even though the yarn is colurfast when you receive it, it may change colour when washed if your water pH is significantly different to mine. If in doubt try using pH neutral water to keep your colours true.
How is shipping calculated?
All packages over £20 in value are sent tracked, or 'signed for', and bulky yarns have to be sent as small parcels due to their size
Multiple items will be sent together, and postage is only charged once per order.
I'm trying to coordinate colours, can you help?
Certainly! If you are wondering whether certain colours will go together and would like to see a photo of them side by side before you buy, please just contact me and I will be happy to take a picture of your desired combination and send it to you.
