Shop my unique handcrafted range of bespoke Thigh High Socks and Garters for every body type. Inspired by the Victorian Era, I specialise in crafting handmade socks and stockings that are designed to your specific size and colour preferences. Whether you're looking for stylish thigh-highs or fashionista ankle socks, my products are crafted to make you stand out from the crowd.
We offer a wide range of hosiery such as yoga and dance socks, leg warmers, knee and thigh-high socks, Victorian stockings, bridal stockings and garters, heritage crew socks, dress socks and men's stockings, wrist warmers and mittens, slippers and bed socks, tutus and tulle socks, hygge teddy bears, and hot water bottles. European, UK, and US sizes are all available, and we welcome custom orders for those who need a specific size that isn't listed.
All of our socks are hand-cranked on antique sock machines, using only the highest quality fibers such as Merino wool, cashmere, silk, cotton, and vegan options such as microfiber, acrylic socks, polyamide, and nylon. We creatively source our yarns from unusual or once-off sources to ensure that our products are unique.
We like to offer sales and promotions throughout the year, as well as a multi-buy special if you purchase two or more pairs of socks. And don't forget, with every purchase of two or more items, you will receive a free gift from us.
At VictorianSocks, we create wearable art that is anything but ordinary. Our mantra is to treat your feet with the individuality they deserve - after all, they wouldn't be called left and right if they were the same! We encourage you to accessorize your feet with our beautiful products and show them off to the world.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions
Natural yarns do not like to be jostled in hot water and then blasted with hot air - it makes them frazzle and felt. Kind and gentle....aaaaah! Soak for a few minutes squeeze a couple of times - no rubbing is needed. Rinse and quick spin in the machine is fine. Reshape while damp and leave to dry naturally. Don't use pegs, as those will mark/stretch the wool
Wholesale availability
My socks are not mill made. Each pair is lovingly crafted and takes time - loads of time. But please drop a line ... my people love talking; bring your people.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each parcel is individually wrapped and ready to give as a gift. Socks make great gifts. Please drop a line if you have something special in mind.
Custom and personalised orders
Outsize, cosplay, a special colour? Can do.
My parcel did not arrive.
All the parcels are tracked and can be follwed in real time - contact me if the number does not work.
As this has proved to be one of the ways that unscrupulous people defraud my shop, I will not refund parcels that are tagged as delivered.
Will my parcel be on time for Christmas?
We ship from the UK. This deadline is for all items except the solid long socks that are custom made.
Local parcels have a deadline of 20th December. International parcels need to be ordered by the 10th to be in time. Only tracked parcels will have a guarantee.
BUT, if you are a bit last minute, we can send you a printable pdf card with a picture of your socks that you can hand over on the day.....your actual socks will follow as soon as possible....
OR, we also sell gift vouchers (you choose the amount) and your loved one can get what they want when the Christmas crazy is over.
How long will my socks a take to make?
Most of my items are ready made - except the long solid colored socks that are made to order. Between February and August there is a three week waiting list for these personalized socks. Between September and January (Christmas time) the waiting list can stretch up to 3 months - so if you need them as a gift please contact me before hand to find our the options. Remember we have gift voucher options that make great gifts.
Returned, undelivered, marked delivered parcels.
I do not cover any international postage. I will add free postage as a gift to favoured customers at my discretion.
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct as I do not cover the cost of resending parcels that are returned to sender, marked delivered, or not collected by you.
