About

Mysterious Creatures

I've always been drawing as a way to tell stories. They are stories of a world filled with mysterious creatures: animals with human faces and wild children, who wander a vast, dreamlike forest, both dark and innocent, gentle and violent.

I started my Fox & Comet shop in the hope that this can one day be my full time job. I love to draw, and I love it even more when people connect with my images and stories.

I pay a lot of attention to details in my pictures. I draw with care and precision, and at the same time, I let my imagination loose. I often make up images as I go, and imagine stories around them. Sometimes it takes me an afternoon to finish, sometimes a week. I draw inspiration from nature, from old folk tales and mythology, as well as from medieval painting.

I hope you enjoy my work.
