For the purposes of EU data protection law, I, Caroline Rigden of Foxy Chocs, am the data controller of your personal information. By placing an order you authorise Etsy to provide me with information such as your name, email address, postal address, and payment information. I use this to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, to provide customer support, to comply with any legal or tax obligations, and to comply with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

How your data is used and stored.
Any data Etsy have passed to me for the completion of your order is stored within Etsy. If you have contacted me directly via email, your details and conversations will be stored within my email account and contacts, which is password protected. Completed orders are stored on my PC and backed up securely to my Google Drive cloud for my own personal records only, both of which are password protected. In accordance with self-employment laws, I am required to keep business records and basic customer information (name, address, email and evidence of transaction) for 7 years.

I may share your personal information with trusted third parties such as delivery companies, but only to the extent necessary to fulfil your order. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control.

Mailing list and Newsletters.

Please note that you will be offered to opt in to a mailing list after you have made a purchase with Foxy Chocs. You may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.

Reviews and Testimonials.

I will share reviews you have kindly given on Etsy via social media. Reviews and testimonials I have received via any other form of communication will be shared only once permission is received. I will not display your name or contact details and will not disclose any other details.

Under data protection laws you have the right to request access, change, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing of your personal information.
