I just love making these rainbow spoon rests they're absolutely stunning in the sunlight and feel so smooth and glossy. If I didn't have one (or two) myself already I'd be keeping it.

Funky Fused Glass Gifts for Funky People

A few years ago a good friend bought me the most wonderful present. A gorgeous fused glass hanger. I fell in love with it immediately and put it in pride of place on my wall. Desperate to find another piece of this amazing art I looked high and low for it but I couldn't find it anywhere - truth be told I didn't even know what it was called, I just knew it looked amazing and felt gorgeous!

Years later, I still admire my original piece of glass - it hangs where it can remind me of where I began. My love of glass has turned into an addiction and now my customers share my love of glass with their friends and family.

Who knows - you too may become the next glass addict. Be warned it creeps up on you very unexpectedly.

Thanks for looking at my fused glass, made in the wilds of Cumbria and inspired by its beautiful scenery. My products are all hand made and different no two are ever the same making every one you purchase completely unique to you. Enjoy browsing my shop and if there's something you think I should be doing then let me know - I'm always open to suggestions.

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
You may cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please write to us at the address shown on your order confirmation. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense.
You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you fail to return the goods, we will charge you the direct cost of collection. The cost of original posting will not be refunded.

If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

Earrings and special commissions are non returnable.
Payment via Paypal, gift card or direct checkout in full before items are posted.
Glass that is in stock will be dispatched in 3 - 5 working days.

Where standard items are to order the order will normally be dispatched in 1 -2 weeks. Most items need at least 48 hours of firing and some take a lot longer.

Personalised items will be dispatched in 2-3 weeks during normal periods but this may extend during seasonal rushes.

The current dispatch time is identified during the order process please double check this when ordering.

Please note Funky Fusion Cumbria is not responsible for customs payments for international delivery and you should ensure that you are legally allowed to bring fused glass gifts into the destination country.

Privacy Policy

Information I Collect
To fulfil your order, you must provide certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you are ordering, Etsy supplies this information as required to fulfil your order. Please be aware that I have no access to your payment information in any way and that information is only held by Etsy. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you contact me directly or by leaving a note to seller during checkout.

Information about my customers is important to me. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

I generally keep your data for the following time period: 7 years as required for Taxation and Accounting by HMRC.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Dropbox and Icloud are Privacy Shield certified.

Am I covered by EU laws and regulations?

Yes, your rights under EU laws and regulations are strictly adhered to.

When will my gift arrive? – Ready Made Items UK

3 to 7 working days from the order being dispatched order.

Rest of World

6 to 10 working days from dispatching the order.

My item has not arrived yet?

Royal mail will consider items lost 10 working days after its due delivery date, so please allow an additional 10 working days for delivery, it could still turn up.
However, please contact me sooner if an item has not arrived when you think it should have and I will investigate and if necessary prioritise its replacement.

Will I have to pay customs and import duties?

Not if in the UK

Non UK customers - please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur and, depending on your region, local customs duties.

These charges are at the customer’s own expense.

Please consult documentation in your home country/region to see if it applies to you. Customs paperwork is completed by me with a true sales value and items will be correctly identified and not marked as a gift.

I am required to send invoice/receipt paperwork containing item values with your order. Unfortunately this paperwork will be on the parcel even if the item is being sent as a gift.

Can I cancel an order?


Please be aware that after 24hrs the item may have been made and shipped in which case it becomes a no longer required item and will need to be returned. Please contact me for how to proceed.

In line with regulations you have a right to cancel your order at any stage from the point of order until 14 days after you receive the item.

Custom and personalised orders

Once the order has been started you cannot cancel the order. If you're having problems please contact me to see if I can help.

What are your Returns and Exchanges policies for non faulty items?

You have up to 14 days after receipt of the order to return all or any one of the items to me for any reason for a replacement or refund.

I will request that the item is returned to me in its original condition and I reserve the right to deduct from the refund any loss in value resulting from obvious use.

Goods are to be returned at the customer’s cost.

In line with regulations I will refund you the cost of the item plus standard shipping costs (outward not return).

I will then issue a full refund within 14 days of receipt of the return or within 14 days of evidence of return (whichever is soonest).

What are your Returns and Exchanges policies for faulty or damaged items?

I take care over making and packaging my items but please inform me as soon as possible if you are unhappy with your purchase or if it has been damaged in transit.

I may request photographs of the packaging and the item or request for items and packaging to be returned to me at my cost.

I will then issue a full refund or replace faulty items within 30 days of delivery.

Will my item look exactly the same as the one in the photograph?

All of my fused glass is handmade and as a consequence each piece will be slightly different and may therefore vary slightly from the one photographed for the listing. It will be made to look as close as possible but please allow for variations due to the wonderful nature of handmade items.

Colours may vary due to monitor differences.

I use art glass which can vary from batch to batch as a result of the handmade process, the quality of the items will not be affected
