5 out of 5 starsSo delighted with the 1930s vintage dress I ordered from this lovely seller. The dress is in perfect condition, so beautiful and it fits as if it were made for me. It instantly bestows elegance and style and of course being vintage ensures no one else will have the same thing.

Frequently asked questions
postage costs
When items are returned postage costs are not refunded unless the item purchase is faulty. This means that when postage costs are included for U.K. customers, you will get a refund minus the actual postage costs (postage isn’t free, I pay for it).
Postage should be paid for exchanges unless otherwise agreed.
Items are send tracked and or signed for. This increases postage costs but offers protection to us both.
If you require expedited shipping this can usually be arranged at your own cost.
I can't not be held responsible for customs delays for international orders and and in the unlikely event of delays, I will not refund postage costs if an item sent via expedited shipping is delayed in customs. This is a risk you take.
Sizing details
Vintage and antique clothing sizes very differently to modern clothing, therefore we do not give sizes and if if one is requested we will be vague.
We measure clothes in inches laid flat.
The bust is pit to pit (the widest point), the waist is the narrowest point, generally between 15 and 17 inches from the shoulder, and the hips are roughly 8 inches from the waist.
To work out if something will fit you need to measure yourself using a tape measure, there are plenty of online guides to help with this,or please ask for advice.
It may also help to measure a similar item of clothing & compare.
We don’t recommend you buy anything too tight, as ultimately this will shorten the lifespan of the item by putting stress on the fabric & seams.
Layaway
I am always happy to do layaway for items over £100. I will ask for a 10% deposit and this is non refundable. I require a monthly payment and a minimum. I prefer £100 a month, but I will consider lower payments. If you do not keep up your payments the item may be re-listed and you will not be refunded.
