Something a lil different for the 30 something is what I wanted, and what I got. Swift delivery and looks great [sure my mate will appreciate it, haha]!

I was looking for something different for next Christmas - being passionate about recycling, I was very pleased to find these on Etsy. Very cleverly made using paper and magazines of different kinds and colour. They are going to look stunning on the tree. I love them.
Lovely cards and prints for lovely people with a "green" sensibility
I have been making personal cards for friends & family occasions for years.
After a recent sabbatical in Berlin (#AmazingCity), I came back inspired, buzzing with enthusiasm & brimming with ideas; some of which have manifested themselves as cards and prints in my Etsy shop.
I love working in a variety of media, though mostly the things available here just now are photography or print based.
I've just added some prints I made from drawings with the Paper app which I am super pleased with and I'm planning to make some collage based designs available soon too.
If you get the chance, it would be great if you would "like" my facebook page too:
This all started by accident, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Frequently asked questions
When will you ship my order?
All individual greeting cards will ship within 1-2 business days of you placing your order.
They will travel to you from the UK by fist class post from Royal Mail.
How will you ship my order?
Shipping fees are detailed on each item.
All greeting cards will travel to you via Royal Mail 1st Class (when your destination is in the UK) or Royal Mail International Standard (to everywhere else).
Are you cards printed by you?
At the moment, All of my cards are printed for me by a fabulous printer based down in Cornwall in the UK.
This company has excellent green credentials and all the cards are printed on carbon neutral card stock as part of the Woodland Carbon scheme.
Do you have anything to do with the American Green Card work permit?
In a word, no! :)
The name Green Card Design came from a bad pun a while back. I was making collages and collage based cards and it struck me that collage, as a medium, was very "green", recycling as it does, things that would normally be thrown away.
As I was designing cards, "Green Card Design" seemed fitting.
I like to make the products I offer as environmentally friendly as I possibly can.
Do you make your cards yourself?
Yes and no!
The photographs on my cards are currently all taken my me. This may change in the future as I come across artists, designers or photographers who would like me to develop their work as cards but currently it's all just me.
The linocuts are also drawn, handcut and hand printed by me. These prints are then scanned into my computer where I can colour them and composite them together and tindy them up if necessary. This process means that when printed, the cards retain the qualities of an original linocut print.
Finished designs are then shipped to my lovely printer down in Cornwall, who prints them and ships them back to me with envelopes and cellophane bags.
Do you sell outside the UK?
Yes, I am very happy to ship my cards anywhere in the world!
