Frequently asked questions
Why aren't all your items hallmarked?

It can be confusing, but not all precious metal items for sale need to be hallmarked to comply with the UK Hallmarking Act, 1973.

In a nutshell, any sterling silver items where the precious metal weighs under 7.78g, gold weighing under 1g, or platinum under 0.5g are exempt from hallmarking. Any one item wth the precious metal weighing over these weights MUST be hallmarked if it is being sold as a precious metal. Anyone selling precious metals above these weights without a hallmark is breaking the law!

I am very proud to say I have my hallmark registered at the Edinburgh Assay Office in Scotland. So in order for me to sell any precious metal items above the exemption weight, I ensure they are hallmarked there as part of my making process.

I want an order to be shipped to an address outside of the U.K. How much do I pay for shipping during the Free UK Shipping weekend (10am 23rd Nov - 10am, 27th Nov 2017)?

You won't miss out - you'll only be paying the balance of the shipping charge excluding the U.K. shipping cost.
No need to work it out - shipping charges are already assigned to each item.
E.g. If you are shipping to the USA & the normal charge for the item you're ordering is £11.30 to the USA/ £6.50 inside the UK, then you pay £4.80 (11.30-6.50).
All deliveries will be shipped via Royal Mail International Tracked as normal.
Any questions - please ask!
