5 out of 5 starsThe cup and saucer arrived safe and sound and ahead of time.
I bought them to match a flight and Barr tea service dating just a very few yrs later.
They are kept together and you would never guess the cup and saucer started out life separate from the tea service.
Thanks. -

Returns and exchange details
If an item is damaged, photographic evidence will be required to make a claim from the post office or carrier. In some cases the item may have to be returned at the buyer's expense in order to make a claim. Postage is non refundable in all cases. I am sorry but his clause does not apply to china items, which are not insured by carriers.
As stated above, because of the nature of vintage items, there may be slight imperfections due to wear and tear but I will always honestly state these in my descriptions and show photographs where appropriate. No refunds will be given on those items described as imperfect or "seconds".
In the unlikely event of you being unhappy with your purchase, you are entitled to return the item within fourteen days of receipt. Should you wish to do so, please send me an Etsy message and I will forward a returns form by e-mail. A refund will be given within twelve days of the item being returned in the same condition it was shipped out. Please note that I am not responsible for any customs duty or tax paid by buyers nor am I responsible for return shipping costs. It is advisable to obtain proof of postage from your post office or shipping company in case the item goes missing in transit.
Payment
If you are unfamiliar with PayPal you might find the information available within Etsy helpful; please see:
http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2007/how-to-pay-with-a-credit-card-and-create-a-paypal-account/746/
VAT, import duty or any other charges which may apply in the destination country are the responsibility of buyers.
Payment must be made in full before items are dispatched.
Delivery
ORDERING MULTIPLE ITEMS
If you want to order multiple items please contact me to confirm the total price including Postage, Packaging & Insurance (PP&I), where applicable. Combining items, where these can be safely packaged together, will save customers PP&I costs quoted against individual items in the Harp & Rose Shop.
DELIVERY ADDRESS
All items will be dispatched to the billing address.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY ONLY
Most items in the Harp & Rose shop are available for dispatch to international destinations. Please see individual listings for further details.
Packages under 2kg and value under £20 will be sent via Royal Mail International Standard Mail (air mail).
Packages under 2kg and value between £20 -£50 will be sent via Royal Mail International Standard Tracked & Signed service, where available.
Where the value of the item is over £50 an additional compensation insurance fee (currently £2.50) will be applied.
If you would like your order sent by the less expensive International Economy Mail, please let me know when ordering and be aware that items sent by this shipping method can take 10-15 days to western Europe and 6-12 weeks to other destinations, we therefore would be reluctant to use this service.
Because of the ever-escalating Royal Mail postage rates, it is usually more cost-effective to use another carrier such as UPS for heavier items and I will endeavour to find the best prices available at all times.
If international customers wish their smaller Air Mail packages to be tracked, this will cost more. Please contact me before ordering so that I can calculate the exact shipping costs for you.
I have deliberately estimated my shipping costs high but my policy is that I will always refund any excess postage costs paid by buyers if these turn out to be less than my calculations. However, please note that the amount charged for shipping in my shop includes a sum for packaging of delicate items which will have to be taken into consideration before any refund of excess postage costs is given.
Most carriers do not accept responsibility for damage of china items and I cannot be held responsible for any china which is damaged in transit as I always pack very carefully to try and ensure that they arrive safely at their destination.
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties, tax and customs charges which may be incurred in their country.

Additional policies and FAQs
I would respectfully request that customers do not ask me to make false statements regarding purchase costs in order to evade their local taxes and/or customs duty as I would be held solely responsible by the authorities involved.
Privacy
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information if you contact me directly.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
• as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
• as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
• Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
Data Retention
• I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.
Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.
Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:
• Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
• Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
• Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
