What picture makes me happy

Etsy was recommended to me during a Cambridge Open Studio, as a place to buy and choose art. So, although I had always sold in person or through commissions, I decided to give Etsy a try. When I started doing digital pictures on iPad I found that some artists simply sold digital pictures. This gives a customer an image at a very low price, and they can choose how to print it themselves to the required quality, considering the paper and ink quality and the frame required. If you look you can find services that print on canvas and more.

Another way of selling my work digitally is through RedBubble, as T-shirts and iPhone cases made to order - take a look. Details are on my website at imogenart.co.uk or he-art.me. I'll try to co-ordinate it so that anything here is also available on RedBubble to buy as home ware.

I'm now in Edinburgh and sitting pretty with a lot of images drawn on iPad, from the UK and around the world. I need to get them up and out there, so I look forwards to expanding this shop.

My paintings in oils and acrylics are also going to appear here - hope you will like them. Many are quite classical, Victorian, realistic, but with intense colour. I love portraits, cats and flowers, as well as places, landscapes, water scenes. I can create composite images from multiple photographs, too.

I started painting to decorate my home; it adds a definitive touch. Visitors love my work there. Now I have so many paintings that I am looking forwards to putting them in other's homes.
