My name is Helena and my shop is all about creating fun, bright and vibrant prints inspired by fashion, art and nature. I love to create and hope that this little shop will spread that joy to you with each print, illustration and product!

I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember, always spending time as a child making finger-print art or crafting. This love continued into my later years and led me to study fine art & textiles at school and later Fashion Design at university. Inspired by my Grandmother and how she used to make her own clothes, home furnishings and of course matching outfits for myself and my sister - I found solace in sewing. Making with my hands and constructing things from flat object to 3D is a problem I enjoy solving, and being able to relish the outcome of hard work and dedication to creating brings me a unique satisfaction. For me, however, true satisfaction lies in being able to take an idea from concept to product - sometimes in the form of an art print, a tote bag or hand-carved lino print, and sometimes in the form of a repeat pattern to feature on home furnishings or even as a garment.

This love has led me to create the work you see here in my Etsy shop. The art prints I feature are often the start of a repeat pattern that I use on my website, license for brands for fabric and wallpaper, or feature in my personal wardrobe when I can't resist getting the sewing machine out again! Some art, like my lino prints, are the final outcome of a sketching journey where I have combined many influences to make a unique handmade print.

Since opening my shop in 2019, I have loved using this channel as away of expressing myself creatively and I hope you too will enjoy the art and products for sale here.
