Fun crochet patterns for all!
Hello,
My name is Ling Ryan, I am the crochet pattern designer and owner of Hooked on Patterns (or HookedoPatterns as there are too many characters for Etsy!).
I taught myself to crochet in 2014 using YouTube videos, and you can too!
After learning the basics, I was keen to experiment with designing my own items. My first design was a little reindeer amigurumi. I showed my creation in social media groups and was asked for the pattern many times. I hadn't thought of writing patterns at this point but decided to research it and give it a go. This is when Hooked on Patterns was born!
I discovered that people crochet for all different reasons, some make for their kids, some sell their makes, some crochet items for themselves or for their homes. I wanted to include all of these categories in my designs for everyone to enjoy.
