The House of Lavene is a knitwear company founded in 1985. Its first collection, the innovative ‘ Artwear range’, took the machine-knitting world by storm, mixing the chic and stylish with an unmistakable eccentric flare.
The house style features the ‘ Godet 'or triangular insert that gives knitted garments a flattering swing and suits women of all ages and sizes. Today, the House of Lavene continues to create inspirational knitwear in mixtures of wool, cotton, linen and silk yarns with all the original colour and dash.
Hello,
Part of my mission is to dispel the myth that machine-knitting is dull or difficult to learn. To that end, I have now published a range of my most popular patterns with the aim of encouraging everyone to get knitting ! This is a real opportunity to create works of textile art at a fraction of the retail price for yourself, I can help ! One step at a time, machine-knitting made easy.
Allowing ' You ' to produce fabulous results with a little practice.
Interested ? . . Then go to, YouTube ' The Keys to Pattern Symbols '. The ' Ten Key's are all you need to know, to knit any of my future, ' Designer Direct ' patterns.
Let me show you how, one to one on YouTube.
Many have been inspired to create fabulous garments with their own signature style. So proud of many.
Thank you.
Anne Lavene.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely love Anne’s method! Her videos to explain the symbols on her patterns are a “must watch “and are very well executed. Lightning and sound are excellent and professional done and easy to follow. I especially enjoyed seeing Anne in action! Will definitely be buying more!

5 out of 5 starsI prefer visual patterns so love the easy to read layout of Anne's patterns. It isn't complex and Anne's YouTube videos are handy tutorials. It has been a real joy to knit although admittedly I won't be doing the crochet finish I'll think of something else or leave it as it is.
