About

Custom calligraphy and original artwork for letters and cards

I am a professional calligrapher and writer.
If you want to write a note to someone special, have your favorite quote, poem, lyrics or wedding vows handwritten in beautiful calligraphy, I am here for you. Contact me and let's discuss your ideas!
But calligraphy is not the only option. I can also type your text on my vintage Adler script typewriter and it will be in cursive (a rare thing it is)!
All listings are just examples. Contact me, place an order and I will make a similar product for you.
I can write your own text or assist you in coming up with a fitting message for any occassion.

There is always an option in the color of inks and the size of letters.

Rush orders are possible with a 25% surcharge.

Please, count words carefully or contact me before placing your order so that you choose the correct number of pages for scrolls and letters.

Looking forward to your message!

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to process an order?

It usually takes me around 5 days to write one page of A4 format in calligraphy, while an A3 sheet would require 5-8 days. The turnaround time can increase due to pending orders.
Please write the desired date you wish to receive your purchase at while placing your order, and I will tell you if I can manage by that date or will need to do it as a rush order.
Processing time also depends on our communication - how responsive you are to messages and how fast you send me your text.

Can I speed up the process?

Yes, rush orders are OK at a 50% surcharge. The turnaround time for rush orders is 2-7 days depending on the size of the order. You can upgrade your shipping to an express to speed up the delivery, as well.
Send me a message before placing your order and I will change the price for you accordingly.

How long does it take to ship an item?

It usually takes 3-5 days to deliver an order within the UK and up to 2 weeks to overseas. This is the timeframe recommended by Royal Mail and Global Mail that I use for national and international deliveries that doesn't guarantee the item will be delivered without a delay if there is a problem at the customs. As a rule, national shipments are delivered on time.
Please note that before and during Christmas holidays shipping time gets longer.

Could you write a letter for me?

Yes, I can write the text you wish to be calligraphed, as well. There is a special listing for it called Personal Scribe. After you place your order, please send me details of your story in a message.

Can I pay after the product is made?

Unfortunately not. I start working on your order after it has been placed. But I can make a quick sample for you free of charge, if you need one.

Can you rewrite the piece?

Once the item was decided upon and is in the process of being created, I cannot change it. If I made a mistake, though, I would be happy to rewrite the text.

Can I upgrade shipping cost to express?

Yes, feel free to request an upgrade before placing your order.

I don't like the work you've done. Can you refund me or rewrite it?

I am very sorry that my work wasn't up to your expectations. I usually send photos of the finished piece before shipping, so I don't issue a refund if the work has been already shipped. However if you are not happy with some element of my work and it is due to my fault, and the item hasn't been shipped yet, I will gladly try to change it.
If there was no my fault in the reason why you dislike the finished piece, I cannot refund you, unfortunately.
If you are only thinking of ordering calligraphy from me, and if you wish to stay on the safe side and take an active part in designing a layout, I can include a draft stage into our work at a 50% surcharge: before working on the final version, I will send you a draft for finalising.
