Welcome to my little corner of the Scottish coast.
Every piece in my shop is handcrafted using sea glass, driftwood, shells, and stones that I (or sometimes my 2 year old daughter!) personally collect from the beaches of Aberdeen or source from Scottish coastal town sellers. I love working with materials that have been shaped by the sea, preserving their natural beauty and ensuring that every creation is completely unique.
The sea has held a special place in my heart for several years now. Living with ME/CFS, I have found the shoreline to be a place of peace, healing, and restoration. Cold water dips in the sea have become an important part of managing both my physical health and mental wellbeing and the shoreline offers moments of calm and connection when life feels overwhelming. Collecting these treasures from the shore allows me to bring a little of that peace home and transform it into artwork that can be shared with others.
My work is inspired by Scotland’s beautiful coastline, the wildlife that inhabits it, and the simple joy of discovering something beautiful washed ashore. Every piece carries its own story, having been shaped by the waves, tides, and time before finding its place in my hands.
I hope my creations bring a touch of the coast into your home and evoke the same sense of tranquillity and connection to nature that I experience whenever I visit the sea.
Thank you for supporting handmade art and a small business.
