I'm a textile designer, illustrator and author living in Devon in the UK with my partner Jim and daughter. It's a wonderfully peaceful place where we can access several beaches and beautiful surrounding countryside.

I work in a studio my partner built and it's here I design, illustrate, screen print, sew and write books. I love bold, happy designs that appeal to children and adults alike.

I've been screen printing for many years now and am strongly influenced by Scandinavian design. I particularly like design from the 50's and 60's and have a large collection of fabrics and ceramics from these periods. I love early Marimekko fabric designs and the work by Lucienne Day. I also love the artwork by Dick Bruna and Alain Gree.

I've been fortunate to have had several publishing deals - I've three books published by Pavilion books - Fun With Fabric, Creative Craft With Kids and Jane Foster's Colouring Book.

I've been fortunate to have had 25 books published - two of which are Craft books.

I won the Mollie Makes Established Handmade Business Award 2014

I'm represented by Jodie Hodges at United Agents in London.

I've been collaborating with Make International who produce mugs, glasses, kitchen textiles, placemats and coasters with my designs on. I also welcome collaborations with other companies.

I'm now a screen printing tutor and offer 1:1 coaching sessions for creatives.
