    5 out of 5 stars

This skirt is absolutely stunning! It was shipped very quickly and arrived soon after, with lovely packaging.

Due to my lack of measuring experience, I measured quite snuggly around my waist, and therefore it is a little bit of a tight fit. So, do learn from my mistake and measure properly, with a bit of give.

Despite this, it still fit very well, and I swoosh about with it all day long.

I know I will inevitably shop here again! Highly recommended.

About JenniesWardrobe

Hello there and welcome to my wardrobe.
Here you will find vintage clothes, clothes I altered and lots of clothes I have made from scratch. I often use vintage fabrics when I create new garments and sometimes I find some contemporary fabrics that are just too good not to get.
I only have one of each in my shop, but sometimes I have the same design in different kinds of fabrics if it is something I designed myself.
Many garments in my wardrobe can be altered in size for you. I will say in the description what can be done to each garment and if this is something you'd like to have done before I ship it, just get in touch. Depending on what you'd like done, this will add on a little time in the processing before I can ship it. (But not much)

Hope you like what you see and if there is anything you like to see more of please just send me a message.

Sizing details

I measure all my garments instead of using sizing. Using a mix of vintage clothing, things I have altered and clothes I have made from scratch I feel like this is the easiest way for you to know what you will get. All measurements are flat. So double every measurement that will go around you, like chest, waist and lower hip. Remember you want some 'ease' in most garments. Ease is the difference between your measurements and the garments to allow you to move comfortably while wearing it. If you want something tight, have less ease, if you want it to be baggy then you want more ease.

Good tips for when measuring yourself.
-Don't hold the tape measure too tight. Have a friend to help you if possible. Write down your measurements so you remember them till next time.

How to measure:
Chest: right across your chest at nipple hight.
Waist: Where your body turns side ways. (The narrowest part)
Lower hip: Usually around 9 inches below your waist. (The widest part.)
Inside leg: Follow where an inside seam would be on a pair of jeans all the way to the floor. (Don't wear shoes)
Outside leg: Measure from your waist (your narrowest part) to the floor.

If any questions about this just send me a message and I will help out.

Custom and personalised orders

You want something altered?
No problem at all. All the garments that can be altered will have the details of what can be done to them without ruining the integrity. Just send me a message with your order and I will get in touch about the alteration.

This will add on process time before I can ship it out to you. How long depends on what alteration you like.
