Part of her dress code is to wear a fun hat, and honestly this one just brings me joy when I look at it! Beautiful, quality materials and looks exactly like the picture. Thank you so much Joanne. Joanne's business was born from a love of fashion and handcraft. Hats are created using time-honoured methods. Every bit as inventive as they are expertly crafted and luxurious, these pieces exhibit the highest levels of hat-making knowledge, while continuing to present a fresh approach that allows for a client's most daring dreams or demure expressions.
Made by hand, each hat is literally touched by the founder's expertise and affection and carries with it the love of the process and the people who it is created for.
Ten years in womenswear offered Joanne the keen design and technical prowess that infuse every piece. Following a career in Fashion, Joanne launched her hat business in 2012 in London. She continues to grow a loyal customer base, teaches at Central Saint Martins, collaborates with well known brands including Vidal Sassoon, all whilst hosting seasonal pop up's at L.K.Bennett stores.
In September 2020, Joanne moved from London to Dublin Ireland. She specialises in bespoke wedding hats and ready-to-wear collections, for Mothers of the Bride and Groom. She also creates accessories for the Bride-to-be and race day millinery.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalised orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If the product does not meet your expectations, I am happy to offer a refund (minus postage costs).
Please return the item in its original and unworn condition, and you will be refunded the price you have paid, less the delivery charge.
Payment will be refunded to the person who paid for the order within 5 days of receipt of the item.
If the item has been worn or there is any damage evident to the product you will be liable for any costs due to the diminished value of the item, I.e. the cost of repair or remake. You will be responsible for the cost of the return postage.
*Cases of exception.
If the design has been custom made to your specifications, unfortunately due to the nature of this service we cannot offer refunds or exchanges.

Your payment can be process through Etsy checkout or through Paypal.
Please note all prices on this website exclude any additional taxes and charges payable in your relevant country.

Once your hat has been dispatched from our studio, we estimate the current shipping services from An Post.
IRELAND: £12, 1-2 working days

AUSTRALIA: £40.00, 6-9 working days

SAMPLE SALE - REFUNDS / EXCHANGES
Hats may be returned within 7 days. Please email us within 48 hours of receiving your hat to arrange a return.
Once we have received your hat, we will issue the purchase price (minus the delivery cost) back to you. The postage return charges are payable by the customer.
MADE-TO-ORDER HATS
Please allow up to 21 working days for us to create your hat after placing your order.
All hats are made to the highest standard with utmost attention to detail, which always requires a little extra time.

INTERNATIONAL URGENT REQUESTS
If you require an express delivery option for your purchase (including sample sale), we can send our hat boxes via a courier service.
The cost of this service varies between £35-£70 (depending on the size/weight of your parcel).
Please contact us to discuss, payment will be taken separately.
MADE TO ORDER HATS - REFUNDS / EXCHANGES
We cannot offer refunds or exchanges on both Bespoke and Made to Order hats. Should you wish to discuss or make changes to your Hat, please call the studio immediately and we will see what we can do.
DUTIES & TAXES
The customer is responsible for any duties, customs charges or taxes which must be paid at the point of entry into the destination country.
We cannot be held responsible for delays once the item has been dispatched due to customs clearance or unforeseen events. All prices on this website exclude taxes and charges in your relevant country.
RUSH ORDERS
We allow 21 days for your hat to be handmade, If you need this sooner, please contact us to place a ''rush'' order. This service incurs an extra fee to cover labour and express material expenses.
*To make your hat in under 7 days will incur a 20% fee.
*To make your hat in under 14 days will incur a 10% fee.
INSURANCE
In the event that you receive your item damaged, please ensure the courier marks the item as damaged on delivery, prior to signing for your parcel. Please provide us with photographs of the damaged goods within 5 days.
SHIPPING
All orders are carefully packaged in a high quality black & white striped hat box with acid free tissue paper. It is then placed inside a sturdy double layer cardboard box, surrounded by biodegradable bubblewrap. This aids the safety protection of your hat through it's journey to you.

WEATHER
Avoid wearing your hat in the rain, as it will significantly affect its shape and quality.
STORAGE
Place your hat box in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.
TRANSPORTATION
Keep your hat upright in its hatbox and use the tissue provided to support the shape by filling out any empty space such as the crown and sides of the box.
HAT ELASTIC
Most hats/headpieces have an elastic. It sits underneath the hair, behind the ears.
MEASURING YOUR HEAD SIZE
Place a soft tape measure around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and coming about half way down your forehead, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Do not pull the tape to tight or too loose, it should feel comfortable. This position is where the hat should sit and this is your head size measurement.
HAT SIZES
If you have a smaller or larger than average head size, we can help. Many of our hats can be adjusted to your bespoke size.

PUTTING ON YOUR ACCESSORY
Refer to the website image of your hat and facing a mirror, lean the hat or headpiece against your had to check its position.
If you hat has an elastic, pop this on first. Now holding the hat with two hands on either side, slide your thumbs under each side of the comb.
Push the comb (teeth facing forward!) towards the hair line and down into the hair in a diagonal direction, catching as much hair as you can to help grip the hat in place.
To remove, slide the teeth of the comb/hat slowly backwards (don't lift up).
Tip - adding some hairspray on the area where the comb will sit, will really grip the hat in place.
Try the above a few times before the day of your event, so you feel extra confident popping your hat on and off.
