I work from home, my spare room is now my craft room. I started Jewellery making a couple of years ago as a hobby and to make items for friends and family. I decided to start selling some of my Jewellery after receiving encouraging comments about my work and to pay for my Jewellery obsession!
I love genuine gemstones and have used stones for healing. I have my own Jewellery on displays according to colour and select what I am going to wear depending on the mood I am in, therefore I am very aware of the effects of colour.
I have attended a Silversmithing course and also went to a Jewellery School in London for classes in Polymer clay. I love doing wirework but have come to the conclusion that I am a mixed media Jewellery maker as I am interested in so many things!
I have done different crafts all my life and therefore I hope to expand "Kentishgarden Jewellery and Crafts" to include many types of crafts in the future. My shop name came from where I live in Kent (England) which is also called the "Garden of England". I get lots of my inspiration when I work in my own garden in Kent and therefore the name of my shop was born.
I have lots to learn on my new Journey!
