Self taught artist and crafter living and working in the U.K.

Hello, welcome to Kirsty Mills Art. Explore colourful art that will inspire your everyday life and add interest to any home or workspace. My shop houses artistic creations and prints as well as other items with my artwork on them and occasionally handmade crafts. I sell one off pieces of art and I am happy to accept commissions too. The prints in my shop are taken from my own artwork and is available in A4, A3 and A2 sizes. My website shows a lot more of my work and most of the paintings there can easily be turned into prints if required. If you like a painting, let me know and I can have it professionally photographed and turned into a print for you or you choose can buy the original. *The items here in my Etsy shop are either my own original artwork or taken and produced directly from my own original artwork. If you require extras of any items, or want a print from my website that I haven't put in my shop yet please do get in touch and I'll make things happen for you. Do you have a general inquiry or query? I'm always happy to answer questions and chat with you.
*I ship items out quickly and will always refund any extra postage fees. I have been infuriated by internet sellers that charge extortionate P&P costs and don't refund the difference and don't want this for my shoppers.
*All artistic rights are mine and the artwork cannot be reused or reproduced without my written consent.

*If you receive an item from me that is in someway faulty I am happy to issue a full refund or a replacement. Please just contact me to let me know what's wrong and include photos of any faults, I'm happy to correspond! However if you decide to change your mind or if you only ordered it to 'have a look' you will only be issued a refund at my discretion and only for the cost of the item when I have received it back in good condition, the postage fees will not be refunded in this instance. Custom pieces will only be refunded at my discretion, this is reasonable as I may not be able to 'sell them on' again and will therefore incur losses.

Delivery
***I WILL ALWAYS REFUND ANY EXCESS P&P FEES AS I DON'T BELEIVE IN MAKING EXTRA MONEY FROM THE BUYER***
*I post via Royal Mail (usually first/second class) around the U.K. For larger, more expensive items I will endeavour to send parcels by their recorded postal service as an extra security measure and for reassurance for my customers too. (An example of this is the higher postage price for the prints as it includes a recorded service.)
*I will send jewellery in good condition recycled packaging wherever possible, because hey why not? We've all got to do our bit to recycle and reuse right....plus it means that the buyer only pays for the postage costs for a small parcel (£3.00 at the present moment, but often less if I can post it as a large letter) and NOT the packaging costs because there aren't any! ;)
*For foreign postal deliveries I will use the Royal Mail's Track and Signature Service, this service includes a small insurance if the items are lost or damaged in transit. You may have to pay extra for this service if only UK P&P charges are listed.
*I am happy to send several prints at the same time in the same postal tube/package and only charge once for the postage as long as they are all bought and paid for at the same time please! The same goes for with other items that can be put in the same packaging, but please do take into account that a flat card will not fit into a postal tube, so be sensible people!
*I endeavour to get items out as quickly as possible, usually the same day or the next day. If there are to be any hold ups at my end I will contact the buyer to let them know as soon as possible, a bit of common courtesy never hurt anyone!
*Please be aware that any delays due to extra seasonal mail need to be taken into account when ordering from me, in other words during Christmas time etc. postal delivery times could increase, so please don't leave your ordering to the last minute as I cannot guarantee postage times.
*Once the parcel has left me I cannot be held responsible for any damage during transit, but I will gladly give any assistance that I can to resolve any problems should they arrive.
*If a courier is required by a customer that can be arranged but it will have to be at the buyers cost.
*I cannot be held responsible for any customs charges that you may incur if any items are sent abroad.

*Because these are my own artworks and I am using them to make up part of my income, I do not give permission for anybody to copy or reproduce any part of them.
*If you purchase a piece of my artwork by law you have no rights to reproduce or recreate it, the rights still belong to me as the artist. Thank you.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

OBJECT. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders

*Pre printed items like mugs, cards, notebooks, prints etc. can't be customised.
*Items like suncatchers or jewellery can often be customised. e.g. if you want a necklace made with moonstone instead of aquamarine, I can usually do that for you. Etsy will also allow me to create a custom listing just for you!
*Commissioned artwork will, of course, be made to your specifications. Depending on the size of the commission and if it's wanted, I can send regular photos so the client can keep track of progress, after all it's got to be right for you the buyer!
*I'm always happy to chat with customers if they have any questions, so please do get in touch.
*I'll do my best to get your order made for you quickly and shipped out safely to you.

Sizing details

I try to add approximate sizes in the description and use rulers or other items in the display photos so you are able to see exactly how big things are. If you are unsure or unclear about sizing please do get in touch and I'll help with your queries.

Care instructions

I try to give care instructions in the description sections, but if you feel you need more information or have a question please contact me and I'll get back to you as quick as possible with an answer.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not offer a gift wrapping service but all jewellery is sent out in it's own drawstring organza bags.
