Frequently asked questions
What does "marked as gift" mean?
"Marked as gift" is an option offered by Etsy on all physical orders. What it means is that there is no invoice or receipt showing the price inside the order. It does not relate to gift wrapping or messages.
For international orders: by law, a customs form will still have to be attached to the outside of the packaging and this will state the value of the contents inside. Additionally, on the customs form, this item will not be marked as a "gift", because that would only apply if it was a gift from me to you - rather than a purchase. Depending on the laws and regulations of your country, there may be customs or import duties to pay - these are the buyers responsibility.
Are the vintage images you use licensed?
So I only work with two types of images - either ones that I've created myself that I hold all the rights to, or old images that have fallen into the public domain and can be used freely. If you'd like to learn more about public domain images, check out Wikimedia Commons as a good starting point.
