In Loving Memory of Steve Whitehouse
20th April 1959 – 2nd March 2019
The Ladybird and Leaf range was exclusively made by Steve and Jane Whitehouse from their home in the heart of Shropshire; their love of the British countryside perfectly reflected in their lifelike, nature inspired work.
Some of you may remember the news that Steve and Jane had retired due to an illness in the family. It is with profound sadness that we must let you know of the tragic loss of dear Steve after a long battle with cancer. To say he will be very greatly missed is an understatement, but he leaves behind a legacy of beautiful sculpture that over the years has brought many people much happiness. He put so much of himself into his sculptures and if you look carefully you can see his playfulness and mischief shining out at you. The pieces of artwork by Steve we have left are declining in number and are now extremely limited. If you are lucky enough to become an owner of one of these pieces, you have something that is becoming increasingly rare and is extremely special. Please treasure it.

The violet pin brooch definitely has the realistic look of that beautiful flower which is my daughter's birth month flower. The color is a deep, gorgeous purple - perfect in size, too, not overwhelming on a lapel, whether as a solo piece or even paired with other pins. Many thanks for sharing your talents.
