    5 out of 5 stars

This is my second pendant made by Lisa. Both are beautiful. Lisa kept in touch with me when the payment for the first pendant was very slow being processed by Etsy's faster checkout system.

Making jewellery magic with silver clay!

Welcome to the Lisa Heath Wearable Art online Gallery.

I love being able to showcase my work in this way. I get to show you the jewellery close up and on a model. I can tell you about how the pieces were made and the inspiration behind them. I can show you the packaging and offer different chain lengths. Despite being online, it feels so much more personal than selling in a physical gallery.

My latest jewellery creations are mostly one-off works of art in fine silver, made using silver clay. I discovered this magical substance when studying jewellery-making in Hong Kong and was hooked from the moment I met it. Made in Japan from recycled and sustainably sourced silver, it allows itself to be modelled a bit like clay but when fired, it becomes pure, hallmarkable, fine silver (99.9% silver). This allows for some wonderfully unexpected possibilities and means you can make pieces that are simply not realisable using traditional techniques (although I use those too). Take a look at my video if you'd like to know a little more.

I also really enjoy knitting, crochet and sewing, so many of my works include textile elements such as knitted cords, crocheted cotton and crocheted or woven silver wire - it's wonderful to be able coax these traditional skills into a modern artistic context.

I have a small showroom in the studio, which you are welcome to visit (by appointment) to try pieces on. Sold items are archived in albums on my facebook page for inspiration. Message me if you would like to be informed when I make a piece in style similar to a sold item that you like.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoy looking through my Gallery Shop and that you will love wearing your favourites as much as I do! Do feel free to message me if you want to chat about the pieces, or about using silver clay.

Frequently asked questions
Other Chain and Cord Lengths

Where specific chain/cord lengths are listed, other custom lengths may be available, depending on the piece, for a small surcharge. Those with a fixed chain/cord length might sometimes be possible to offer in other lengths, again for a surcharge. Feel free to ask about the piece you are interested in.

What is the difference between Sterling and Fine Silver?

Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver, the remainder being other metals, usually copper, which make it harder. Fine silver is 99.9% silver and is the silver used in investment-grade items such as silver bullion. It is a bit softer than sterling and has a lighter glow when no patina is used. It doesn't tarnish as easily as sterling silver.
