About

When tea and literature collide.

I have always had an extraordinary love of books. Since a child, I devoured book after book and just couldn't seem to satiate my desire. For me it was stepping into a new world at a moments notice and living countless different lives without even having to move from my cozy corner.

My love of tea came a little later in my late teens when I discovered not only had this incredible beverage been under my nose my entire life, but it tastes amazing. From then on tea became my other little obsession. I'm tried hundreds of different teas from around the world. Some I've loved and others not so much but with each passing year I am learning more about these leaves that changed the way the world drinks.

Tea is calming, it's healing, it can be energising or relaxing. It can give you the clarity you need to solve a problem or the creative rush to help you make a masterpiece. But tea is best consumed when reading a good book. The ritual or 'tea and a book' has been my go-to happy place for many years. One without the other just isn't quite enough anymore so that is when Literary Tea Co. was born.

I wanted to create all organic tea blends that are inspired by great minds, such as Shakespeare, Hemingway and Plath.

Tea isn't just a drink, it's a way of life!

Peace xx

Shipping
As all of our teas are made to order, please allow 2-3 business days for the order to be shipped.

Within Australia: Parcels will be sent via standard post with tracking provided. Allow 1-2 business for the package to arrive once dispatched.

International: Parcels will be sent by Air Mail which takes 7-15 business days to arrive. Although shipping rates are high (coming from Australia) I have covered a small portion of the shipping cost to make it cheaper for the buyer. The more tins you buy the cheaper the ship works out per item.

Be aware of your countries customs restrictions before ordering the tea, as confiscated packages will not be refunded.
Additional policies and FAQs
For orders of more than 5 tins, please contact us prior to ordering as postage may be slightly different.
