My love of the sewing arts began when my parents, two brothers and I moved across the country to a small town in Washington state. The house we bought was filled with antiques. One of these treasures was a 1920s Singer sewing machine. An idea formed in my head, and with the help of a neighbor, who was a skilled seamstress, I learned to make my own clothes.
Years later when I began my own family, I expanded my sewing skills to making kids clothing. I learned a lot in the passing years raising 11 children. I noticed that they gravitated to three things when choosing what to wear. Comfort, roominess, and easy to put on and take off. This experience has made the model I use today. Simple kids clothes from soft, natural, and organic fabric that kids love.
Now that my children are grown, I want to use what I've learned to pass these types of clothes on to you and your children.

5 out of 5 starsThis dress is amazing! I am in love with it. Impeccably made. The workmanship is perfection. And most importantly my daughter is comfortable wearing it. I love that it snaps down to the waist in the back. She hates having clothes pulled over her head so with a full snap back she can step into it instead - such a smart design for a baby. I would love this in other prints too.

5 out of 5 starsI purchased two outfits (pants and hat) for newborn and 0-3. The shop owners were willing to work with me and gave me a discount code for purchasing two items. They were very sweet and patient with me! They even sent a free gift, a cute bib made from organic cotton. Fast shipping. Will definitely purchase from them again! Thank you Candy and Bronte!

Care instructions
All our items are made with organic fibers. This means they must be properly taken care of to last. Birch recommends washing on delicate or handwash cycle in cold water. Dry on LOW heat or air dry. This is very important because organic fabrics are not infused with chemical dyes, which lets you have softer, eco-friendly, non-toxic fabric for baby's skin. If you do not follow these recommended washing instructions we cannot accept any returns on your item.
