Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, share, and retain personal information when you purchase a digital product from LocalBrandKits, contact me, or otherwise interact with my shop through Etsy.com and its related services.

This policy does not apply to Etsy or other third parties that I do not own or control. Please review Etsy’s Privacy Policy at https://www.etsy.com/legal/privacy.

1. Information I collect

To process an order and provide customer support, I may receive information that you authorize Etsy to provide to me, including your name, email address, billing location, order and transaction details, and any information contained in messages you send me.

I do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Please do not send sensitive personal information through Etsy Messages.

The information required during checkout is necessary to complete your purchase. Without it, I may be unable to fulfil your order or provide customer support.

2. Why I use your information

I process personal information on the following legal bases:

• To perform my contract with you, including processing your order, providing access to your digital product, resolving problems, and offering customer support.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or court requirements.
• For legitimate business interests, such as operating and improving my shop, maintaining security, preventing fraud, and resolving disputes, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• With your consent, where consent is specifically requested. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

I do not use buyer information for unsolicited marketing and do not add Etsy buyers to external mailing lists.

3. Information sharing

I share personal information only when necessary and in limited circumstances:

• Etsy: as required to process transactions, provide my services, and comply with Etsy’s Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
• Professional or technical service providers: such as accounting, legal, or IT providers, only when necessary and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Legal authorities: when reasonably necessary to comply with the law, a court order, taxation requirements, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or protect legal rights.
• Business transfers: if the shop is sold or reorganised, information may be disclosed only as permitted by law.

I do not sell or rent buyers’ personal information.

4. Data retention

I keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide my services and meet legal obligations. Customer-support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary.

Order, tax, and accounting records may be retained for the period required by applicable Italian law, generally up to 10 years, or longer where required for an ongoing legal matter.

5. International transfers

I do not independently store buyer information in external marketing systems or transfer it outside the European Economic Area.

Etsy may process information internationally according to its own Privacy Policy and applicable safeguards.

6. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to request data portability.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Some requests may be limited where information must be retained for legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority, including the Italian Data Protection Authority at https://www.garanteprivacy.it.

I do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

7. How to contact me

For the purposes of EU data-protection law, I, Alessandro Di Motoli, owner of LocalBrandKits, am the data controller for personal information I independently process as an Etsy seller.

For privacy questions or requests, contact me through Etsy Messages.

I will respond to valid data-protection requests without undue delay and normally within one month, as required by applicable law.
