Welcome! I'm Sarah - the gal behind LouBeeClothing.

When I started working with stained glass over 15 years ago, I never imagined it would've led me to where I am now in my creative life. I have always been a maker and a creator, but producing a tangible, useful thing lit fires in me. Stained glass led to jewelry making, which led to fine jewelry making, then to a very brief foray into knitting (gah), and ultimately in my late twenties - sewing. My love of textiles paired with the endless inspiration my daughter, Emmylou, provides has landed me in my very own Creative Utopia. LouBeeClothing, for me, is the wide open door at the end of very long creative hallway.

The Doli Tank is what started it all. It's ma'baby. It's got an exaggerated racer-back and a subtle hi-lo hem, and the best part - fabrics that you will not find in your average children's wear. I love fluff and ruffles and sequins as much as the next girl - but this is not where you're going to find them.

My aesthetic is simplicity. Intentional un-frillyness. Classic style and easy comfort. I firmly believe that kids are at their cutest when they aren't covered in bells and whistles and GLLITTAAARRRR!!!

I am a textbook Taurus and I tend heavily towards all things Earthy-natural in life. How does that translate into LouBeeClothing? Through soft materials, nature-inspired and feminine prints, organic lines and shapes. Nothing hard, nothing cold, and no glitter. That 'bout sums it up.
