The sudden, unexpected upgrade to Tier 4 of my part of Hertfordshire, scotched my plans for shopping for her gifts on the high street. But, Louise Mary came to my rescue, going out of her way to ship the order within hours of me ordering and on a guaranteed next day courier service (that she doesn't usually offer). Of course, my wife knows nothing of the heaven and earth moved to ensure she had a gift for Christmas; she just adores the necklace, which was beautifully presented in a lovely box. Even the clasp is beautiful and unique! I simply cannot thank Louise Mary Designs enough. 10 out of 5!

I collect silver both modern and antique and these items are a very clever modern design combining beautiful pieces of wood. Overall a fantastic combination. Second time I have used this seller and communication and delivery are second to none. Buy with confidence, I will be doing so again.

About LouiseMaryDesigns
I am a silversmith who loves nature
I primarily work in silver, creating silverware and jewellery inspired by plant forms. I am drawn to working with silver because of its malleability and beauty, and I specialise in the technique of 'fold forming'. This involves working with flat sheets of silver which are folded, pressed (by rolling or hammering) and then opened again, leaving the fold defined in the silver which creates forms similar to leaves and other natural forms which inspire me. I also use other traditional techniques, such as piercing, soldering and roll printing in my work.
I am very passionate about the craft of silversmithing, and it is my aim to respond directly to the silver as I work with it.
My collection ranges from silverware, such as coffee scoops and napkin rings, to delicate, wearable jewellery. I work from my home studio near Burton upon Trent in South Derbyshire, where I also teach jewellery making workshops.
I am the author of two books, 'Making Silver Jewellery' (Published by Crowood Press, 2014) and 'Fold Forming for Metalsmiths & Jewellers' (Published by Crowood Press 2017.)

Returns and exchange details
I recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery to return items as jewellery is not insured in normal first or second class (and recorded) post.
Payment
Delivery
UK delivery is by either Royal Mail First Class Signed For or for items of value over £60 Royal Mail Special Delivery. International Delivery is sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed.
I will send you an email via Etsy with a tracking number to let you know that I have posted your order, this will also allow you to track your order in transit.
Please allow three working days for delivery in the UK, and 10 working days for international delivery, although orders will often arrive sooner than this.
Please be aware of any postal strikes or delays in your locality that might affect your parcel arriving. Sometimes things do go wrong with delivery which are beyond my control. If you have not received your item within five working days (UK) of me posting it then please get in touch. For international deliveries please allow 15 working days. In the rare case of non-delivery please contact me within 30 days of ordering so that I can look into this for you.
Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer, and the onus is on the customer to check any relevant customs charges, tax or duty, which may be payable in their own country before placing an order. By placing an order you are agreeing to this policy.
