Love the lampshade, it’s sits proudly in my study area and has transformed the base. Really pleased. Thank you

very nice shade, although I ordered the wrong thing. I meant to order for a floor lamp and I got one for a ceiling pendant instead, but it works great just the same.

Beautiful lampshade, looks even better than the pictures. Arrived within a few days of ordering
A beautiful lampshade is the perfect finishing touch for your room.
When I moved into my little cottage, the lady who had lived here before had clearly been a maker. Even though the house had been emptied, there were little touches of her creativity everywhere, such as the bag of half finished crocheted lace in the back of a cupboard and the hand made curtains. As a maker myself, I really wanted to keep something of her spirit alive in my new home.
I found a little lampshade up in the hallway, covered in dust and with a tatty brown floral cover. I really loved the shape and wondered if it was possible to make a lampshade myself, and that’s where it all began.
If you have a look at the logo for my shop you can see the result of my first upcycled lampshade, made from that frame in the hallway. I love this lampshade and hope that the previous home owner would approve!
I still use upcycled lampshade frames most of the time, which is why all of the lampshades in my shop are one off originals, and I source vintage fabrics and trims as much as possible.
I am very happy to make pieces on commission. Past commissions have found me sourcing just the right frame shape to suit an interior style, and I once re-covered a lady’s own lampshade frame using a skirt she had found in a charity shop! If you have something particular in mind, or have a old shade that you love but has seen better days, please get in touch and we can discuss your ideas.
I’m Scottish / Cypriot but have lived in Scotland all my life. I live in a small, peaceful village near Edinburgh where I’m surrounded by fields and big skies. My passions are making nice things, my furry family and being outdoors.

I am happy to create a lampshade for you. I have made lampshades for people out of their own frames and also sourced frames for people to fit their interior scheme. I can help you find the perfect fabric, or use your own fabric. I once made a lampshade cover out of a skirt that a customer bought from a charity shop!
I am based near Edinburgh in Scotland. If you’re close by I’m happy to get together with you but for those further away, we can speak by phone or email and you can send me your frame to be re-covered.
My prices start from £20 for a small hard sided lampshade. Just get in touch and we can discuss what you’re looking for.
I am happy to ship to anywhere in the world. If you get in touch I can provide you with a shipping quote.
My hard sided lampshades are made with lampshade PVC which is heat resistant. My soft sided lampshades are treated with fire resistant spray. However it’s best to use low energy light bulbs, which stay cooler, if you can.
