A few years ago I decided to toss my office job to the wind and lay it all on the line and reclaim my life. They say you never grown until you live outside your comfort zone. It's true. Through the process I landed a job as a flight attendant and for the past 5 and a half years, I have been traveling the world. Traveling the world was never really a dream of mine but I am embraced the journey. While on my downtime in the cities I would visit, I made it a point to get out of my hotel room and explore the streets. In the beginning, I just wanted to share my new life with my friends and started snapping photos with my iphone to share on social media. The more I began sharing simple iphone photos, the more I was encouraged to try my hand at selling some of my captures. I decided to start my etsy shop with some of those iphone photos (edited so they are of good printable quality). In time, I invested in an actual camera that I would carry on the road. This year (2020) Covid struck. The airlines were one of the hardest hit industries and I subsequently have had my wings clipped. I have been furloughed effective October 3rd, 2020. I have now turned my attention to trying to expand this etsy shop. I've been digging deep into the thousands of photos I've captured over the years and I'm also expanding to graphic design. It would be nice to make this a full time thing but I'm not so sure I have what it takes. I'm not a quitter, so I'm here trying and learning new things every day. This is my new chapter of life. I would love to see travel kick back up and see my job get recalled, but until that happens, I'll be here. Please be kind as I get my footing with all of this.
