Handmade Sustainable Jewellery making positive impact in Ecuador

Whilst living in Ecuador I met Mariuxi, who, along with her family, runs a small tagua workshop. Tagua is a nut, grown sustainably, on a certain type of palm tree in South America. It can be hand-carved and coloured to create beautiful jewellery and souvenirs. Business for Mariuxi and her family has fallen over the years, as tagua is still a relatively unknown material. I want you to discover for yourself the beauty of this natural and sustainable material whilst also supporting a wonderful family business.

My goal is to grow an ethical & sustainable business that supports artisans in Ecuador, donates 10% of profits to charities in Ecuador & beautifully packages your gifts completely plastic free!

My chosen charity - Project Ecuador
Set up to meet the needs of the poor in Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, Ecuador.
- Sponsoring children though education
- Building more adequate housing for families living in poor conditions
- Funding medical and glasses prescriptions
- Running clubs, camps and activities for children and young adults
- Providing food parcels during the covid crisis

THANK YOU

You are making positive impact!

If you have any questions, just drop me a message, I would love to hear from you.
