About Me...

Hello and welcome!

I'm Maive, a polymer clay artist and author settled and nestled in the Southeast of England with my boyfriend and a bunny called Benjamin.

I love cake! In case you hadn’t noticed. And when my polymer clay journey began in 2011, when my mother in law handed me my first blocks of FIMO, it was almost inevitable for me to want to make miniature cakes and cake-themed jewellery out of it.

My polymer clay work doesn’t stop there though; nature and the ocean are a great source of inspiration of mine and I’ve had a life-long fascination with water, which is why I like to make a lot of my food literally drip with yumminess!

When I’m not obsessing over cakes, I’m also creating funky fruit jewellery, fantasy characters that love to talk and talk (and talk! you guessed it!) and pieces inspired by the world of witches which I find so mysterious and fascinating.

I don't take custom orders, because my work is very intuitive but please feel free to drop me a line, I always welcome suggestions; and you never know, I might be in the process of making exactly what you were looking for, telepathy!

I hope you'll find something you'll connect with in my little shop,

Thanks for stopping by,

Each piece is individually sculpted by myself from high quality polymer clay, so they truly are unique. I only use moulds made of my original pieces.
I dedicate a lot of time and care to my pieces, so if there is one little thing I don't like about a piece, I recycle it and start over.
So you can be certain you will always have 100% of me.

I'm a one woman band. I am the designer, sculptor, photographer, writer and short little human that packs and takes her babies to the post office once they've found a new home.

It's always a bittersweet experience, to part. But I know you will love them just as much as I loved making them.

I hope you will find something that connects with you,

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Have a lovely day,

Lost in Transit:
I do my best to make sure all items arrive safe and sound to destination, but apart from providing proof of posting, I have no control over the care that is given to them during transit.
If your item hasn't arrived within the expected time frame, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I list most of my pieces on both my website ( and my Etsy Shop.

In the unlikely case in which an item sells in both platforms at the same time, the first buyer will get the original piece and the second one can choose between having the item made or a refund.
All items are posted in padded envelopes and presented in gift boxes or pillow boxes.
If ordering multiple items as gifts for different people, please specify at checkout so I can wrap them individually or as instructed by you.

*Please note that due to their size and particular shapes, I cannot provide the gift wrapping service for my fairy house jars/lanterns.

In order to save resources and to keep my business as green as possible, I use natural, recyclable gift boxes and you can use them again if you desire! I occasionally recycle paper, larger cardboard posting boxes and envelopes, I don't print out receipts; all to save paper, hence trees.

Additional policies and FAQs

*To prolong the life of your polymer clay jewellery, remove before swimming, bathing and showering.
*It's probably a good idea to remove during exercise or heavy physical activities like tennis.
*If the polymer clay piece hasn't been varnished or painted, it is water proof. Check the specs of your specific item to see how it was made. If you can't find it, then drop me a line.
*This is a given, but don't peel it, scratch it or bite it, no matter how yummy it looks!
*Treat it with respect and don't try to see how strong it is by bending it.
*Jewellery with silver plated findings (or silver in colour) is better kept in an air tight container or jewellery box to minimize tarnishing, and the shine can be brought back to life using anti-tarnish wipes.
*Use a soft dry brush to clean miniatures and sculptures.
