Welcome to Make-it Happen Fabrics.
You will find our physical shop located in Hereford city. We stock a wonderful range of fabrics, haberdashery items & sewing notions. We run a fantastic range of creative & artistic workshops in our Studio space above our shop. We service & repair sewing machines / overlockers as well as doing clothing alterations & repairs.

Founder & Magic Maker
Meet Jackie, our fabulous founder! She has an extensive background in theatrical costume and taught Art & Design for 15 years across the globe! During this she dreamt up the idea of Make-it Happen before returning to the U.K to make it a reality!

Mother Hen
Cynthia is the backbone of Make-it Happen, always helping our customers to find what they need! Cynthia takes on many challenges in our alterations such as custom cushions, curtains and tricky repairs, she has a solution to every problem!

Creative Team
Christie is a friendly face on the shop floor and always on hand to help. When she's not at Make-it Happen, Christie is running her Etsy shop, Wayfinding Creations, making beautifully detailed mouse ears for your trip to 'The Happiest Place on Earth'

Millie loves all things fabric and colour! Outside of Make-it Happen, Millie is a Designer - Maker specialising in hand weaving. She creates hand woven textiles for interiors, from cushions to wall hangings. She also works on bespoke fabric orders!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders
Please order carefully. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for cut fabric unless faulty or damaged.
Please note fabrics which are woven from natural fibres have characteristics & other irregularities in the yarns which are features & not therefore treated as weaving faults.
Please check descriptions for details and order a sample 1st if you are unsure of colour/composition.
Please ensure you test wash the fabric before use, cut a small sample and wash by hand cold or wash in machine. We do not accept returns for fabric that is washed incorrectly.
This does not affect your legal rights, including your claim to a refund or replacement, where goods are faulty.Parcels that are returned to us remain your responsibility.
