Who is Malachite Candles?
Hi! I'm Hannah, aka the pourer, picker, packer and general boss lady behind Malachite Candles.
Malachite Candles, like so many things, was born in the furore of 2020. I have always loved filling my home with different scents and love finding new aromas to suit the seasons and my mood. So this seemed like a fun way to explore a new hobby as well as make everything smell delicious. After a while, I realised I could sell these on and let everyone else enjoy my favourite scents as well.
Over the last few years I have realised the importance of understanding where my things are coming from. Who made them? What are they made of? Where did they come from? This is why I think it is so important to be transparent with you, my customers, on how my products are made.
Malachite Candles are made with natural, paraffin free, soy wax which means the candle has a clean burn with no sooty mess lingering behind. The wicks are pure cotton and work perfectly with the soy wax as they help the burn be more consistent which lengthens the burn time. The scents are all 100% vegan and cruelty free (super important to me!) which not only smell divine, but also don't have any hidden nasties. I use a combination of fragranced oils and essential oils (but mostly fragranced). If you have any questions, please get in touch!

Gift wrapping and packaging
As much as possible my packaging is either recycled, recyclable or reusable. The box your order arrives in is 100% recyclable (just remove the tape first) or reusable to pack another pressie in. The tissue paper is made from recycled paper, and any other protective packaging has been recycled from my material deliveries.

I aim to go to the post office at least once a week to ship all your lovely parcels off, but sometimes this may be a little delayed, especially during Coronavirus peak times.
