I was very happy with both the quality of the vintage box itself and the way the interior had been tastefully upcycled with marbled paper. It looked exactly as it looked on screen. The sender enclosed a helpful note about how to manage the lock, which was appreciated.

Restored antique boxes, lined with printed marbled papers using traditional methods.

Gosh we are living in difficult times at the moment and I know everyone is going to have to tighten their belts , we are trying as always to keep the prices down and so far have achieved that. For me nothing beats the joy of buying a completely battered box that has seen better days and transforming it into a 'thing of beauty' giving the box another hundred years life just by giving some TLC and a whole load of elbow grease! We hand marble all our papers which can often take up to three days depending on the weather, however it is fun, creative and our trademark which makes every box unique. We also restore boxes for other people so if you have a box that needs some TLC just click on the Custom Order button.
