Announcement   Welcome to my shop! I am a young but established and award winning, photographer working in the East of the UK but traveling to expand my portfolio all the time.

Established in 2011 from a passionate love of photography, architecture and art.

Alongside my photography I love working with mixed media, photography, acrylics and word art. I am happiest when I am designing, drawing or taking photographs of all the amazing things around me.

The original photography which I sell on this site is all my own work and the photos are all taken by me.

I enjoy how colours mix and light plays and how sometimes you can see things in something that no one else can see. I enjoy watching the light on different materials to create different effects.

My photographs have been published many times in our local newspaper here in the UK. And I sell locally through shops, stores and market stalls. I have recently received my first commission to take promotional photographs for a science conference (BNBS II) taking place in 2016 and in May 2016 undertook my first portrait shoot.

In 2013 I was awarded 1st place by the Cambridge Camera Club Under 18's Annual Competition for one of my photos, Stack of Dreams and Commended for my 2nd entry! In 2015 in the same competition I came 3rd and a Highly Commended. In 2016 my entries to the same competition won a 1st and a Highly Commended.

In July 2016 I won South Cambridgeshire "Wild" Young Photographer of the Year and £200 for my school.

    Owner, Photographer

Hi, I'm the owner of Girl Behind The Lens Photography. I'm 14 and started photography when I was 8. After winning lots of competitions, I began my own small business selling photography cards and prints, now with a website and growing stockists.
