Hi, my name is Lisa I completed a fashion and textile degree at De Montfort University many moons ago! I specialised in mixed media textiles, and later spent some years designing repeat patterns for a rotary screen print company.
 
I always wanted to use my skills in mixed media, however, didn't know what area to move into. Then I got a puppy, a border terrier I named Tavish, full of mischief, a real character with cheeky expressions... and the idea came to me, pet portraits, I was always drawing portraits so it’s a perfect combination of mixed media painting and my love of animals. 

My paintings are expressivewith a realistic look to capture the character and detail of your beloved pets, ensuring an updated, contemporary portrait look, that would fit in to any animal loving home.
