Where Art Meets Fashion

Melody G was created with the aim of making artwork more accessible and versatile, to combine aesthetically exciting print design with wearable fashion as well as affordable prints and accessories. Using a range of techniques, we create digital collages and produce them as framable prints, cards, notebooks and jewellery. The jewellery line aims to promote awareness and help women in poverty by donating 5% of the total profits to Living Goods charity; a charity which helps women in underdeveloped areas by providing them with opportunities to run their own businesses and contribute to creating a self-sustaining society, providing jobs and money for those in need.

Melody Grossman is the girl behind the business; an ambitious 24 year old artist living and working in London. Over the last year she's been working on creating the handmade jewellery and accessories using her original artwork and print designs - making each piece from scratch. Surrounded by the bustling and demanding nature of London, she's determined to make some positive noise in the artistic community.

She graduated from Winchester School of Art in 2013 with a degree in Fine Art Painting, and since then has been developing her work and exploring digital collage and printmaking, blurring the lines between mediums and playing with bright colours and punchy text. Melody has been extremely interested in fashion for a while and came up with the idea of combining her two main loves of fashion and art to create the jewellery line - to create something that was affordable but still visually exciting. By making the artwork wearable, she hopes to create something that can be appreciated in a different way to traditional hanging artworks. This was the perfect way to work with two things she truly loves, and get to share her artwork with a different audience.

Everything from the design to the final product is made by her (with the advice and expertise of wonderful family and friends!). She creates the digital images for the print and the designs for the vector files. The pieces are physically printed and laser-cut at the suppliers; then she adds the fixings by hand and packages each piece to sell. This is all done in the artists London studio, and where possible she uses local suppliers.

Please drop us a line or feel free to get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!

Additional policies and FAQs
Care Info:

Our pieces are all delicately handmade, but when treated with care should last a long time.

To help keep your jewellery in the best possible condition, please avoid direct
contact with water, chemicals, creams and perfumes. Try not to sleep, wash or
exercise in your jewellery. When not wearing, keep the jewellery somewhere soft and safe (ideally a jewellery box). Avoid dropping the pieces onto hard surfaces as this can weaken or break the item.

Turn inside out before washing. Iron on the reverse of the printed side. 30°c wash. Do not wring. Low heat iron. Do not tumble dry.

Fabric bags:

Avoid contact with chemicals, creams and perfumes. Clean with a damp cloth and turn inside out.
